Making Output Adjustments

When this coupon appears on your website, it needs to load quickly and look great. Right? To do this, we may need to play with the output settings a little.

The two important elements

When making adjustments, we need to balance two elements:

1.File size
2.Crispness and quality of the coupon (mainly text edges and gradients)

Remember, huge file sizes can happen when you have big images with many colors. Keep any eye on the file size output when making adjustments.

Output Types

Each of the 3 Output Types have their abilities and faults. The trick is to play with the settings until you balance the file size with the coupon output. The Output Window shows you what each change does to the finished coupon.

Here are the types:

1.JPG - This is the default setting. It allows you to make adjustments to the load time vs. quality. This option does make text blurry at times.

2.PNG - This setting provides crisp text, lines and gradients. However, it can make larger file sizes when you have more colors and gradients.

3.GIF - This is good for simple designs with few or no colors. File sizes can be small which makes load time faster. This type will dither gradients.

If the image file size is greater than 60k, a warning will appear
